The visits at the labs were organized by the Marceli Nencki Foundation for Support the Biological Sciences. Its aim was to familiarize young people with the research carried out at the Institute. The program included:

Laboratory of Cell Signaling and Metabolic Disorders (Katarzyna Kolczyńska) - How does the morphology and function of fat cells (adipocytes) depending on the physiological condition of the fat issue?

Laboratory of Bioenergetics and Biomembranes (Joanna Szczepanowska, Małgorzata Partyka, Jaroslaw Walczak) - The study of mitochondria in cell physiology.

Laboratory of Imaging Tissue Structure and Function (Titus Bernaś, Artur Wolny) - imaging of cellular structures using confocal fluorescence microscopy and representation of architecture cells / tissues.

Laboratory of Neuropsychology (Kamila Nowak, Anna Dacewicz) - How researchers are trying to get to know the human brain using a variety of tasks and tests and neuroimaging

Laboratory of Psychophysiology (Hanna B. Cygan) Learning method of recording brain activity using EEG. The brain model.

Laboratory of Animal Models (Natalia Chwin, Bartosz Zglinicki) - Characterization of the transgenic mice in terms of cognitive (IntellCage, Skinner box) and metabolic (metabolic cages) research.
