Cooperation agreement between the Central Institute for Labour Protection and the Nenckie Institute

On October 17th, 2014, at the invitation of prof. Danuta Koradecka, director of CILP/PIB, prof. Adam Szewczyk, director of the Nencki Institute, and prof. Ewa Sikora, head of the Laboratory of Molecular Bases of Aging,  visited the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute to sign an agreement on cooperation. Prof. Ewa Sikora is the project manager implemented in the Nencki Institute, which deals with the study of chronic inflammation in the elderly (65 +) professionals and retirees. This project is part of a multi-annual program coordinated by prof. Danuta Koradecka, on improving safety and working conditions.

 

Both sides recognized the visit as most interesting and considered the possibility of extending cooperation to other teams of the two institutes. Prof. Danuta Koradecka accepted the invitation of Prof. Adam Szewczyk to the Nencki Institute in order to give a broader perspective of cooperation between the two institutes.
