  • PhD degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related disciplines
  • documented experience and achievements in the application of bioinformatic tools for research in the field of cell and molecular biology, experience in statistical data analysis, knowledge of methods of nucleic acid isolation and analysis, some knowledge of flow cytometry and confocal microscopy (e.g. publications, abstracts, previous employment, speeches at conferences, research internships, awards, scholarships, patent applications)
  • experience in finding and testing new biomarkers is welcome
  • high motivation to work in science
  • very good command of spoken and written English;
  • It is expected that the post-doc will not take up other jobs during the period of employment in the project.

Scope of tasks in the project:

  • planning, conducting research, and analyzing the results using methods of computational biology for mikroRNA profiling in blood and functional studies of microRNAs in cell cultures using the methods of cell and molecular biology
  • preparation of seminars and manuscripts

Employment conditions:
