A subject of the invention is a novel peptide with chondrogenesis-stimulating activity, especially by stimulating the differentiation of adipose tissue mesenchymal stem cells into chondrocytes and a stimulator of adipose tissue stem cell proliferation, migration and chemotaxis. Also a subject of the invention is the medical use of the peptide as a drug for the treatment of cartilage damage as a chondrogenesis stimulating agent in humans and the in vitro use as a chondrogenesis stimulator, especially a stimulating agent for the differentiation of adipose tissue mesenchymal stem cells into chondrocytes. The delivery application of this invention may provide a new type of therapy for cartilage damage in humans.
