PhD students from Nencki Institute: Anna Bot, Kinga Borzęcka, Małgorzata Hall, Joanna Wojsiat and Jarosław Walczak have been invited by Institute for Research in Biomedicine in Barcelona (IRB) to  participate in 1^st IRB PhD Retreat conference which took place between 14^th and 15^th of  November 2014.

The goal of the conference was to summarize current research results, exchange of experience and knowledge between IRB students as well as students from the collaborating institutes from Poland, Italy and Netherlands. Participants presented their scientific data in short oral presentation or on a poster session. The additional attraction was the workshop concerning the promotion of the science in the society and the skills development during the PhD program.
