Reporting session of PhD students of the Department of Biochemistry of the Nencki Institute

On June 26-27 an annual report session of PhD students of The Department of Biochemistry took place. We had an opportunity to listen to 30 very interesting and good presentations.

It is my great pleasure to inform that four PhD students have been awarded for their excelent presentations and additional four students got the distinction.

Awarded presentations:

1st year: 1st Award -  Julian Swatler from the Laboratory of Cytometry (supervised by K. Piwocka), distinction - Patrycja Kucharczyk from the Laboratory of Cell Signaling and Metabolic Disorders (supervised by A. Dobrzyn); 2nd year: 1st Award - Agnieszka Kielbasa from the Laboratory of Intracellular Ion Channels (supervised by A. Szewczyk/P. Koprowski, distinction - Solomiia Boyko from the Laboratory of Molecular Basis of Cell Motility (supervised by K. Nieznanski); 3rd year: 1st Award - Marta Kolba (Walczak) from the Laboratory of Cytometry (supervised by K. Piwocka), distinction - Aneta Dobosz from the Laboratory of Cell Signaling and Metabolic Disorders (supervised by A. Dobrzyn); 4th year: 1st Award - Piotr Sunderland from the Laboratory of Molecular Bases of Aging (supervised by E. Sikora), distinction - Bernadeta Michalska from the Laboratory of Bioenergetics and Biomembranes (supervised by J. Duszynski/J.Szymanski). 

The Special Oudience Award went to Marta Kolba (Walczak) from the Laboratory of Cytometry.
