The project is aimed to disclose the unique sets of EEG spatio-temporo-spectral features (EEG-fingerprint, EEGfp) that are specific for activation of brain structures of attention/control networks.
The cooperative research funded by NCN Symfonia 4 grant is aimed to disclose the unique sets of EEG spatio-temporo-spectral features (EEG-fingerprint, EEGfp) that are specific for activation of brain structures of executive attention networks.
The group within the Nencki Institute, performs experiments during which participants solve multisource interference tasks, and other cognitive tests activating attention network while their brain activity is recorded by means of EEG and fMRI. The candidate for the position is expected to plan, perform and coordinate analyses of fMRI and EEG data in correlation with psychological tests. Proposition of a follow-up experiment validating EEG-fingerprints will be highly appreciated.
