The Workshop 3D Imaging and Mapping of Elements by X-Ray Microanalysis in Electron Microscopy

The goal of this event was to bring together a diverse group of scientists using various modern techniques of three dimensional imaging, X-ray microanalysis and elements mapping in electron microscopy in order to present these cutting-edge methods to the researchers from all over the country and in particular to the young scientists (Ph. D. students, junior postdocs). The Workshop consisted of a series of lectures (64 attendees) and of practicals (21 participants divided into 3 groups) on data acquisition for 3D imaging/reconstruction, qualitated and quantitative X-ray microanalysis and element mapping.
