Since the beginning of its activity, the Nencki Institute has been engaged in the publishing activity. The magazine, which is published continuously (except for the War years) almost from the beginning of the Institute's existence is Acta Neurobiologiae Experimentalis. Until 2006. The Institute published the journal Acta Protozoologica, and for some time also Laboratory Animals. Field Stations of the Institute also published their’s own journals: Archive of Hydrobiology and Fishing published by the Hydrobiological Station in Wigry, Polish Archive of Hydrobiology published by the Hydrobiological Station in Mikołajki and Bulletin of the Marine Station in Hel. In December 2004. The Institute started to publish an Internet weekly, entitled Tygodnik Nenckiego. Apart from the journals, the Institute published a number of monographies and occasional publications prepared by its employees.
