Nomination for the position of the Director of the Nencki Institute

Effective January 1, 2010 Prof. Adam Szewczyk was nominated for the position of the Director of the Nencki Institute. The nomination was signed by the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Michal Kleiber as a result of an open recruitment procedure, in which Prof. Szewczyk was the only applicant for the position. One of the major steps of the procedure was evaluation of the candidate by the Scientific Council, which took place during the Council assembly on November 6, 2009. In secret ballots, the Council as well as the Evaluation Committee nominated by the Chairman of the Biological Division of the Polish Academy of Sciences positively evaluated the candidature of Prof. Adam Szewczyk.

Effective January 1, 2010 doc. Urszula Sławińska and doc. Hanna Fabczak were nominated for the position of the I and II vice-Director of the Nencki Institute. The nomination was signed by the Chairman of Division II of the Polish Academy of Science Prof. Andrzej B. Legocki.
