A method of analysis of protein-protein interaction using FRET, a resonance energy transfer phenomenon. The energy transfer takes place between the particles of two fluorochromes with which proteins are labelled. A fluorochrome particle, called a donor, upon excitation transfers energy to the second fluorochrome, called an acceptor if the emission spectrum of the donor at least partially overlaps with the absorption spectrum of the acceptor.
